Hi
Been away for awhile but just picked up a new candy apple red 2013 gt. I am looking to enhance the sound coming out of the pipes but having a hard time finding the right set up.

My old 06 gt had an MRT catted h pipe with a pypes axelback and sounded perfect. Gave a nice deep note but was bit over the line as far as loudness goes.

The problem I am finding is finding a quality catted h pipe I know MRT sells them but it looks like their cats have a high failure rate judging from some posts/reviews I have read.

All of the catted mid pipes I have found are for long tubes which I will never put on the car. I have spent entirely too much time on you tube listening to setups too btw everything sounds too conservative or too ricey for my tastes

What about the Boss mid-pipe, keep the factory cats and get the sound of side exhaust.

Take a look at the MRT catted hpipe, stick with the performance and not the race version. Great quality and sound.

The factory cats are terrible!! Its the biggest choking point in the exhaust.

I didn't say they weren't .... I said the factory cats are not that bad as far as cats go... no matter what exhaust you do, if you have cats they are the most restricting part of exhaust.
