I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket flywheel and i need some help cause im kinda confused. I have a 07 V6 automatic, i have an intake and dual exhaust. Will the flywheel make a big difference and how big of a job is it? Any help would be appreciated

Hi there your car is an automatic and therefore will not have a Flywheel. Your car has a flex plate which is essentially a disk that allows the mounting of a torque converter. They are pretty good factory and not much weight reduction can be had by replacing it with an aftermarket unit (if such a thing even exist for the V6). I think your money is probably best spent elsewhere like a lightweight aluminium driveshaft or suspension mods.

Wondering if he was thinking about an under-drive pulley instead...

Sure am glad I read this! I just recently got an '08 V6 automatic, am about to try my hand at modifying it, and I was thinking about getting a different flywheel. Totally new to all of this, if you couldn't already tell...
