I have noticed most aftermarket oil pans do not have a provision for the low oil sensor...what do you do with the sensor and I assume the low oil light when you leave it unhooked?
cut out a hole and weld a bung in for it, probably something you wanna keep. There what pans are you looking at that don't have them? Most for our cars do
Ditto on the Canton pans....If youre to the point where you have an aftermarket pan (hopefully 7qt) Then i would guess you would monitor oil. No oil sensor for me....i rather check my dipstick once a month.
Thanks for the replies. Woody at Fordstrokers recommended a 7 qt. pan for my 331 which is why I'm switching. I researched this some more and from what I have read, disconnecting it is the way to go.
