Aftermarket seats

holy crap thats cheap..how is the quality of the pleather (plasticl leather heh)? Did you have to buy rails? how much were those? you should write up a review of those bad boys..I would highly consider those any day..

I like the 'pleather' better then the real leather on the stock seats and the vinyl. I like the bolsters on the side which hold you in a turn ...

I also like knowing I'm set if I were to get a roll cage, I'll be able to add a harness no problem.

Aesthetically the shape was exactly what I was looking for. Yes they're cheap seats but for the price a good value. I see now Schucks / Checker / Kragen is selling an even cheaper knock off of these ... not the same materials, lacking a few options like the folding latches, etc. so don't take those as a measure of what you're getting from Jegs. Also there is no logo advertising some company. I have considered getting a pony embroidered like the stock seats though.

Spent $80 each on custom made brackets from Wedge Engineering, a small shop in Cali.

Maybe I could jsut order sliders and get them for under 100 bucks a peice then..my stangs seats are faded pretty bad...the owner should have tinted the windows when they bought it but they didn't so now I get to upgrade

Not a whole lighter then stock, but a huge difference from the drivers seat without the power.

I don't bother taking out the passenger seat at the track anymore to offset any weight issues with seats.

I don't have them, but I'm thinking about getting them for my '98 GT and putting a rear seat delete.

These are the one I like.
