I'm looking into some aftermarket seats and want some info from those that have them. I want to know what seats you have and how you like them. Pictures of them installed would be great as well. Right know I think my top choices are summit sport seats and corbea forza's. does anyone know how much the summit seats weigh?

thank you,
scott

yeah, I have pictures of yours on the computer! and i have sat in them before, pretty comfortable. the only thing i'm concerned on is the weight. also have to find out about shipping on them monday.

i have a pair of Hunsaker seats in my vert i love em.. cannt go wrong with the price imo.. i dont have any pics of them cause i cannt afford a new camera :( but i will buy them again from my other stangs.

i just got some sparco torino 2's. still waiting on the brackets and belts so they arent installed yet. i drove really far to try the corbeaus out and i am so glad that i did. they sucked. i thought i wanted the cr1's, i almost bought them with out sitting in them. i am not a big guy, 5'11 175lbs 32in waist and they were so tight. the material they are made out of sucks (not the microsuede-the shop didnt have those on display). i am a manager of one of my families dry cleaning stores so i work with fabric all day and let me tell you. the stock cr1s will pill and wear out before you know it. they are cheap, dont just buy them for the name or for the sake of saying you have racing seats in your stang.

so after i was dissapointed i said f-it drove even further away sat in some sparco's and was hooked. i cant wait to put them in. right now i have them in my bed because i have no where else to put them. i watch the speed channel and pretend im driving. i have even slept in them for a few nights-no joke. they are that nice but they were expensive.
after everything was all said and done i ended up paying just short of $2k for everything: seats, brackets, belts. now after i pay those things off im getting a matching sparco steering wheel and maybe some gloves.
you get what you pay for, i have no regrets

I have the Recaro SRD's in mine. Love them. The only seats I would consider are Recaro, Sparco, or Cobra (the brand). They are more pricey but its a mod you always wil use and well worth it.

i had corbeaus--forget model--and was not impressed. today i am installing my arizen racing seats--much better quality. i sat in the summit seats at the showroom in ohio and lets just say i am glad i went with arizen.

fwiw if you have deep pockets then the '00 cobra r seats is the way i would go.

I agree about corbeau...I have the legacy's and not only is the quality not good but they are small.

Yeah the Ariezen seats have been on my list for a long ass time. I want some but maybe during Xmas time or something i could swing it. Im getting the Black with Grey inserts and matching rear seat upholstery.
