Aftermarket Shifters

I installed them on my '88 and '01. Are the current ones difficult? A friend has asked for help.

And: what are a few I should look at? He's been looking at the Ford Racing catalogue so I think he'll have more questions.

The hurst is the best shifter i have ever felt... (we had a roush shifter in their, not worth the money) Had Speed Freaks Industries in tracy install one on my wifes gt. She loves it, she's even going to let me take it back for a custom tune.
