Definitely different since they bolt to the engine cradle all the way back to the LCA mounts. Course I spent only $200 on my MM SFC. That's buying them and paying to get them welded in.

by the time you buy a good set of weld in connectors, and have a shop install them, you are only $100 away from a good set of thru the floor connectors.

I paid $200 just for the welding, and that was the only local shop I could find who was even willing to do it.

I payed $300 for my eddy rpm2. So total investment after powder is $350. Really its free with the sidework i did. How do they justify a $400 price difference for a powder that costs $25-$50 a pound.

I dunno, like I said, I called probably 6-7 places and only one was even willing to do it. Welding on OTS subframe connectors is easily an hour or two worth of work, considering putting the car on the lift, unbolting the seat, cleaning the area to be welded, actually running the weld, etc. Shop rates around here are $70-80/hr.

Usually I like American Muscle... However, charging 50 bucks more than S&W Sells them for, all while claiming to be "saving" you 70 bucks off of "market price" is ridiculous.

Hey, OP!

Thanks for checking out our new parts!

I see what you mean in the price, but I wanted to post to clear some things up. S&W makes some of the best bolt-in cages/braces and suspension components. Having been to their facility many times, I can say the make some of the best bolt-in products I have ever dealt with. Perfect fit, perfect finish and a quality product overall.
Those sell directly from S&W at that price, but that doesn't mean that's how much it costs to get them to your door directly from S&W. S&W charges shipping and we do not. Our total price shipped to your door is $349.99 and with how big the box is for those, I wouldn't doubt if it cost upwards of $50 to ship them to the farthest parts of the continental US.

Now, that being said, we do pricematch! Don't hesitate to ask us if we will pricematch, because we surely will!

I hope this helps! Please feel free to PM me directly with any questions in the future!

At the price they get for welding I could get some aircraft structual blind rivets and do both sides for $50. Its an idea that I may well consider in the future. After all if you can rivet skin to an aircraft wing spar and never worry, doing subframes on a car should be simple. Space the rivets 1/4" from the metal edges, run a double row zigzag pattern 1" apart and you are good to fly anywhere your Mustang will take you.
