I pulled my dash apart today and now my Air Bag light is flashing on my '90 GT.
It comes on like normal when I start the car, but now is is flashing. Anyone know why? I disconnected the wires on the cluster on the back and plugged them back in...could this have caused it?

If that was indeed all that you'd done, then no, the light is not related to what you'd done. No other wiring got unplugged?

Well, now it won't start.
AGH! Whatever...I'm pulling everything to drop this motor in another vehicle, but now I'm screwed as far as starting and moving it again. I just pulled all the dash stuff out. Guess I'm doing the swap sooner rather than later now.
Anyone needs stuff out the dash, let me know. I got mountains of stuff now, piling up that I will not be using in my other vehicle.

Still need to go over my wiring today and see what happened. But can anyone tell me if there is anything on an airbag equiped '90 that would cause it to flashs the air bag light and then cause it to shut something down to cause a no start condition? How sensitive is that solid state plastic back of the instrument cluster. I don't think so, but maybe I ground it somehow???

By "vert" he meant convertible vs. hatchback vs. notchback. Is the car trying to crank over at all, or turn the key and nothing happens? I can't think of why the printed circuit on the back of the cluster would stop it from starting, all it does is take signals regarding lighting and sending units.
