The air bag light is blinking in my 93 Mustang GT it will blink once then pause and blink 3 more times then does it all over again. Does any body know what this code means?

has your air bag been deployed ussaully it will blink if the bag has beeen deployed or the sensor has gone bad. replacing a deployed air bag an ghanging the sensor will stop the light. if the air bag is not a concern you can unplug the air bnag module (the baby blue box behind the radio) just unplug the harnesses attached to it and it will stop if you remove the light from the dash the blinking will be replaced with an annoying beep.

Not sure about the code, but it usually means that the system has found a problem, or thinks there is a problem. If the light is on, the system may be shut off.

On my 97 F150, pulling the air bag fuse with the battery connected will set the light and shut the system off. As far as I know, only a dealer can reset the light. It was $54 at the dealer. Took a hour on Alldata to figure out the problem.

VERY ANNOYING!!!

You may just want to bite bullet and go to the dealer. Autozone or someone else hear should have the codes.

Code 13 is Front Crash Sensor or Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Ground.

mine had a grounding problem too. I tried tightening all the sensor bolts to no avail, and then it fixed when I put some electrical tape over the bolt heads. I guess it is grounding out on the hood prop rod. I may just need some better grounding bolts. Theyre getting corroded
