Well, after only 4600 miles my air conditioner has decided not to work anymore. I don't use the air that much, even though i'm in Florida, but have noticed lately that the air just wasn't getting very cold. Well today when I went to try it, nothing but hot air came out...didn't even try to get cold. I stopped by a local ford dealer this evening and they said they could check it out Thursday morning, so I guess I will have to look forward to sitting around there tomorrow morning. Just hope it's nothing serious, maybe just an o ring or something. I don't want to sit around forever waiting for a fairly new car to get fixed. Anyway, I'll let ya know what it was when I find out. Just curious, anyone else had any air conditioner problems?

my dads 03 F250 had an A/C problem last year. A/C problems are pretty uncommon.

Mine makes a racket under the hood with the A/C on. 4700 miles. Going in tomorrow morning to check it out. Sometimes the car vibrates at idle with it on - like shakes the whole car. It still makes cold air at this point.

Well, took the car in today and after two hours, they determined that the car was low enough on R134a that the compressor wouldn't turn on. They recharged it along with some dye to determine the leak, but said the leak was so slow they would have to wait for it to be visible. They told me to just continue to use the air until it starts getting warm again and bring it it, so that they can use a blacklight to try and locate the source of the leak. Anyway, it's blowing cold for now and hopefully won't take to long to find the leak. Thanks for the above replies.

Well, the dealer says the clutch and bearing are fried on the compressor and they are replacing it. Need it overnight though.
