you can just splice it in on the plastic line with some 1/8 inch hose or something. The hose for that connection runs fromt he vacuum tree on the dr. side to the firewall aroudn about where the heater core is at.

ya know the funny thing is i just fixed this prob yesterday after i tore out all the vacumm lines in the dash ..yes it is a really thin hard plastic line from the pasenger side you will see that it goes into the firewall ..to the tree on the drivers side (why the hell woul dthey use hard plastic instead of rubber ) well good luck :nice:

you say "after you tore out all the vacuum lines in the dash". does that mean you really didn't have to take the dash off?

you got it i was a dumb azz and started there instead of the easy tinjgs to check first wasnt really the whole dash just behind the radio and ac conrols and behing the glove box wasnt a big deal so if the hos ein engine bay is good look there

Look for any thin vacuum hoses that come out of the firewall on the pass side, kinda where the heater core hoses are. Follow that hose to the vacuum tree. At about the area where the back of the intake is, there is a plastic connector connecting 2 hoses (the a/c is NOT just ONE hose). Mine was cracked right where the hose attaches to the connector. I just used some electric tape to hold it until I fixed it.
