Make one. You can get the aluminum sheets at Home Depot. To make the bends just get a 2"x4" or something long enough to use an edge to bend the metal against. Then measure the distance between the holes where the old air box use to be, use the fasteners that held the old airbox in place and viola. I keep meaning to make one but I just moved into a new place a few weeks ago and have been busy with "new house" stuff. I may do it this weekend. I'll PM you the specs if you would like.

You don't need it. Just get three self threading screws to hold it in place. I'll tell you what, I'll take pictures of mine when I do it and if you like it, I'll make you one. Just pay me parts and shipping. Or I can send you the specs.

i tried that, it sucked. noticed a much more responsive throttle when i put the filter back right in front of the maf. the cai bend sucks and i'll never use it again.

plus, the filter's too but to fully fit in the fenderwell anyway

I noticed much better throttle response when I killed the 90 degree bend.

I had a CAI to the fenderwell but it did not do anything. I took it off and left the tube that goes from the MAF to the TB, then I put back my K&N drop in but I did not put the filter housing back on. Instead, I used the original metal bracket and put some foam used for speakers around the bracket to create a tight seal. MAN, did I feel a difference in the car. In 2nd and 3rd I can really feel it move at low RPMs. The bad part about it is that when it's hot down here, above 100F, my car really gets drowned with all the hot air, it just doesn't move the way it should. At my local track I saw a guy who did almost the same thing but he added an aluminum heat sheild that he made at home by doing the same thing they mentioned earlier(Home Depot.) He also painted the aluminum to match his car, it was pretty cool.
