air sound

I have been noticing a noise (air thump sound) and found the hose off of the air pump just out in the open.. I have shorty headers on and and do not want to run it to the exhaust , do I get a pump delete? what can I do to get rid of the sound?

if you have cats good idea to hook it back up like stock, don't have cats then delete. if you still have to go through smog they may do a visual thight could be a snag. blocking it off really isn't an option just delete at that point.

I do not have Smog here ... I wonder if the delete kit will work with my blower setup?
