Hey i need help, the airbag light started to flash on and off after work today, and i've never had any problems with this before. When i got home from work today, i turned off my car and let it sit a little bit, then restarted and it keeps doing this. anybody know what it could be?

Mine's been doing this for about a year now. It flashes three times, pauses and then repeats until the car is turned off. Probably some sort of code? Doesn't seem to hurt anything.

Usualy if the air bag light is on its means the system is not armed. Now don't ask me about the flashing air bag light, it could mean the same thing

Take it to a ford dealer, they can run the codes on it and then reset it. Sometimes they will do it for free, But it will cost around $35.00. The air bag sensor could be sorting out,If this happens then BOOM,it's in your face befor you know it.

Well crap aren't you full of good news Atleast the car will be a big hit come forth of July.

Ok enough jokes...Again I'm not sure on the flashing meaning a code but you can take it to a AutoZone and they can check it for free. If I find my simple diagram, I'll post it and you can build a tester your self and look the codes up on the net.

I don't think the airbag will throw a code...they are an isolated system.

Mine used to do that...doesn't now though
