That's how i disconnected the passenger side air bag in my 95 from the harness, the reason i did it was so the kid's could ride up front, the only down fall is the AIR BAG light stay's on all the time now94gts said:ok the drivers side is held in with 2 screws. there are 2 covers(one on each side of wheel) that need to be popped off in order to get to the screws. Then, slide it out and un clip the wire harness.
passenger side consists of looking up under the dash and removing the 3 bolts holding the unit to the horizontal bar in there. also thjere is a wire harness for this one too. then undo the velcro on the 2 sides of the cover and slide that bad boy out.
Also, make sure you disconnect the battery first.
