Interior and Upholstery Interior roof adhesive removal HELP

Any ideas on how to remove this adhesive off the interior roof? I tried one of those rubber wheels and it just made a mess. I tried heat gun and a scraper and that did nothing. Also tried a steamer and scraper and that didn’t work one bit. Acetone helped, but didn’t remove it completely. Any ideas out there?
