I have a question for anyone that has installed their own alarm. I have my alarm hooked up and it works except the doors do not lock/unlock. Can any one tell me how they hooked up thier locks. I think it is a negative system. The alarm instructions have about 10 different wiring methods positive, negative, reverse polarity, vacum, add on power locks, etc. Any help would be useful.

It depends on your alarm system. If the lock/unlock wires from the alarm only give a negative trigger you'll have to use relays to turn those triggers to a positive trigger. If the alarm can do negative or positive trigger on it's own then use the positive trigger.

Thanks to all I finally got to installing the releys on the door locks and they seem to work great. Now I just have to hook up the trunk release reley and the parking light flash. I need more releys and they are a little expensive. Where is the best place to find some cheap. I got the ones I used from Auto Zone and advance auto they only had one in stock at each store..
