How old do you think Denny is?
Denny inherited this business from his father. The "record holder's" father in question, was known for his flashy and beautiful cars, but that they also were not that fast. People with stratospheric wallets? Just like the Cobra owners, older stang owners described? Most do not have a clue as to what is required to make the car go fast....it is more of a question of making it look fast, which Denny can do rather well. They want these cars for show use, not for insane track times, or for occasional PIR shelby meets etc...
Basically, Denny is an ass of a person, egotistical like very few others I have known. His business is primarily with people with gigantic incomes, case closed. I have gone into his shop several times for various customers...I usually leave each time feeling like I should have physically struck him, or at least three of his employees, due to the treatment given. He knows Roush? I met him once, also, a long time ago...lol. I am sure Roush is on the phone with Denny every day asking for his opinion.
Now, I am not bashing rich people, or doing the Class Warfare thing...I would much rather be rich than what I am now. But Denny has only one class of customer, the Moron with Too Much Money In His Wallet. Anyone else is wasting his time.
Nor do I have anything against him inheriting his business, as I would do the same thing, nor do I think he is all that stupid, as he has somehow managed to keep the business around for a few years at least...I just wish that he would be honest as to who his true customers are, and give this bull**** facade that he is there for everyone.
Are you trying to say Jack Roush couldn't tune a car himself or have any one of the hundreds of people he employs do it? Maybe you just meant he couldn't buy his own parts?
