alignment problems after 5 lug switch

the tires angle out at the top. will caster camber plates cure this problem

YES. If you are using 96 and later spindles it is almost a must have to achieve the correct caster angle. But your problem is with camber which should be correctable with just an alignment. I would buy the cc plates, bumpsteer kit (if it is lowered) get an alignment and call it a day.

I am using 94 spindles. it is lowered. i took it all apart yesterday and i dont see any adjustment that would change the angle of my tires the front tires look like this \ /. not hardly that bad but just to give you an idea

The top of your strut tower has the plate where your struts mount. There are three bolts (15mm). They loosen up allowing you to move the strut assembly around to achieve the correct camber angle. If you have the cash definitely get the cc plates and bumpsteer kit but if you don't have the cash you should be able to fix your problem with just an alignment.

You will see one bolt on one side and two on the other side. The side with the two bolts have slotted holes which allows for camber adjustmant. You have to loosen all three but only the one side is adjustable. Loosen them all and you will have the ability to adjust the / \ to be more like | |
