Alignment question…

I’ve had the car lowered for over a year now and just recently my front tires have wearing on the inside. When I took my car to get aligned on Jan of this year they said that they were having a hard time aligning one of the struts, but they got it aligned properly. Well recently I took it into a shop to have it checked out and they said that I had the “older” designed caster camber plates. They recommended me replacing the CC plates with some by MM. Shouldn’t I be able to get a good alignment with the current CC plates I have now?

One person told me that the problem could be with the “shims” or bumpstops preventing the alignment shop from getting a good alignment done (something about a rubber piece on top of the struts needing to be modified/changed).

Anyone had any experience with this?

theres a guy out in Round Rock at the NTB on I-35 who does alignments and specializes in stangs. he did mine and it's been dead on balls accurate for over a year now. he even did some personalized settings. i wanted -2.0* camber for handling. i forget his name, its somthing like dave or david i think.

what's up derek... yeah i took my car to dave this morning and he said that a rubber sleeve on the top of the strut is preventing me from getting a good alignment... he is going to get it fixed for me (i ran out of time)....

yeah i check out AAS's website from time to time-it's pretty nice... did you go to the MOCATX (www.mocatx.com) car show 2 weeks ago? if not i can email you some pics-it was really nice if you like the older style mustangs...
