Wish I had the extra money! Less then 3 grand and you get an extra 5.0! Why did I have to buy those heads and supercharger. Damn it!

Sounds like the oil pump is about to crap out on it....otherwise seems like a pretty good deal. 3k is a little pricey for a stock 5.0 though, coupe or not.

Yeah, but they're going off the stock oil pressure gauge, we all know how those work. Mine looks low when it gets warmed up. As for the knock sound, if they're not fimilar with stangs, it could just be a collector leak. knocks are usually pretty loud and unmistakable. I had a ricer tell me that a had a rod knock. I kept telling him it was just an exhaust leak and I was to lazy to fix it right now. He wouldn't leave it alone. Every chance he got was, DUDE, I work at a shop and build engines all day, that's a rod knock. So I opened up the hatch got out my tools and tightened the **** out of the collector bolts and poof. It was gone. My point is, you never know untill you check it yourself.

Only 65k miles for $3,000, AND a motor? Heck, swap motors if need be, sell the spare motor, and drive the snot out of it. That ain't a bad deal at all.

You gotta think, its a dealership. So if it says 65k on the odometer and there is no proof that it's at 165k they are not gonna say it. I almost know for a fact its 165k. If not it might not be such a bad deal...

You'd have to be there to check it out, drive it, etc.
