Yuck. I agree, that is soooo 80's. Looks like it belongs in a crappy Oldsmobile.

BTW, stock analog guages would be much easier to read on the road or track. Your eye reads the motion of the tach better with a sweeping arm. The sequential lights on the digital tach would simulate that effect, but to a lesser extent because they only draw the outline of an arc - there is no arm. Add to that, the digital lights stay on so your eye is looking for the leading edge of light. That's much harder to discern that an arm on an analog board.

Dude, they're Autometer gauges, you can get Phantom, Pro-Comp, or Ultralites, and it wouldn't be hard to put warning lights in it. To each his own, but I don't think $580 including gauges is too bad of a price (although still to rich for my blood).

Edit: Acually, it says for $5 they'll put in a red light for your CEL, and they'll place it wherever you want.

Exactly my point...I'm sure the florida50's gauges are accurate, but they look like total crap! I'm not feeling the digitals as much either. So far the nicest gauge setup is the Roush/Autometer/Simco one they make for the 99-04 stangs. It also much cheaper.

the autometers ( florida 5.0's) aren't too bad, i like digi guages on custom choppers and hot rods etc., but i think it would be kinda hard to read the tach from your perif. with the digi.'s. BTW, i dont like THOSE digi.'s. if i had to take aftermarket guages, i'd like 03-04 cobra guages, or maybe the Lunar guages

I think they are kinda cool...if i had a v6 i might do it. No way in hell i'd trade em for my 160 gauge tho . How do the gauges get their readings?
