How are the invoiced all-weather floor mats (90W) with the Pony Logo embossed in the vinyl mats?

I hear it only covers part of the carpeting and not enough. I haven't been able to find pics of the mats installed in the cars.

The all weather mats basically cover only the flat area of the floor: they do not cover the area under the pedals or in the "dead pedal" area. You would not want them to cover the area under the pedals as you couldn't depress the pedals all the way to the floor due to the thickness. It would be nice if the "dead pedal" area was covered, though.

Would it be easy to get the exposed carpet dirty (the part under the pedals) or is the floor mat large enough to cover the necessary areas?

Dirt on the unprotected area under the pedals is normally not a big problem, and it might not happen often, but it could be irritating if you are anal about how your interior looks. The "dead pedal" area is prone to collecting all kinds of dirt, even on a stick shift car where your left foot is on the clutch pedal frequently for stop-and-go driving. That being said, I'm not sure any style of currently available floor mat would adequately cover the "dead pedal" area.

There are two versions of the mats. The first ones I hated. The newest version are just fine. They may not cover everything but they are infinitely better than the carpeted mats.

I've worn holes into the carpeted floor mats in the past. I used to think that the Ford mats were overpriced, but price be damned, the factory all-weather mats are pretty decent. The stuff at Wal-mart never fits properly and requires trimming or buying a larger mat. I wish I had gotten the all-weather mats for my Crown Vic.

The mats pictured are version two. My dealer sells to be for just a little above cost. Considering how many cars I have bought from him, it is the least he can do.
Ask, it can't hurt.

I picked up this set at Advance Auto Parts for $50. I can't recall the brand name, but I've had them for 5 weeks now and they are pretty nice. I had to cut the rears so they fit around the seat brackets, but wasn't that hard. The front mats are advertised to hold 16 ozs of liquid. The fronts required absolutely no trimming to fit.

Personally, I like the factory mats 100 times better. And for only a few bucks more.
