I recently purchased an 86 gt vert I have a couple of questions
1. those of you who have done the wire hiding in the engine bay , what did you use to attatch the harness ? I am planning on running the wires thru the back holes in the strut towers , the wires that run across the firewall , I want to move them below the pinch weld but again I am not sure of what to use to hold them up out of the way .
2. the previous owner installed a one wire alternator ( i think pic included ) they ran a wire from the post on the back of the alt. to the positive battery terminal , this looked liek crap and unsafe , I plan on running the wire from the post to the positive side of the solenoid with a fusable link in place ( close to the alt right? )
The previous owner also cut the factory alternator wires and capped them with wire nuts is the best way to clean this up to just rewire the factory plug and hide it in with harness ?
