alternater hit the hood

ok my alternater was hitting my hood and it was making my car run like ****.. it was hitting it cuzz my blower install makes you move it.. anyways now I fixed it but now im getting this battery lite when I drive what could be wrong..

Do you have problems starting the car at all, or is just the light on?

If you dont have any problems with the battery (it is staying charged) then it is probably just some sensor making the computer think it isn't charging. Check all the wiring and make sure it is tight.
