Alternator ABS & TC What do they have to do with each other?

Okay about a year ago I ejected my first plug at the same time my ABS & TC light's came on. I fixed the plug and blew off the abs & tc. The other day my alternator went out I replaced it now my ABS & TC started working again. What gives?

I happen to believe that EVERY possible electrical problem should start with a through review of the battery and charging system.
