ok i am having some problems with my alternator bracket and power steering pump, i can not get them mounted on because i cant figure out the right way to put them on, for the power steering pump i assume i have found the right way then the mounting points to the heads do not line up? and i have no clue with the alternator i should have taken pictures but i was beign stupid and excited pulling it out. so if anybody could help me or even better has pictures of what these are supposed to look like in a 66 mustang that would be great, also it isnt possible that the heads are on the wrong sides is it?...god i hope not but anyways let me knwo waht you guys thing and thank you again for the advice

Did you swap timing covers or water pumps? The head bolt holes are the same for either side. The later heads have revised accessory bolt hole locations as well as different size holes.

There are two different waterpumps for the 66's. You may have the wrong one if you can't bolt anything up. The Alternator bracket is really simple, there are two bolts thru it to the waterpump and the other is a long 7/16" bolt that goes into the passenger side head. P/S pump bolts to the drivers side of the pump and drivers side head.
