Alternator question (need help quick trying to make it to the track)

Im replaceing my alternator and I was told I can use the 94/95 alternator so I got one but there is 2 plugs on the new one and only one on the old and they are not the same. Has anyone done this? What do I need to do to make it work? As you can see in my post name I have an '88 former highway patrol car.

Please help!

It's not a straight plug in swap - you have to do some changes to the wiring. Go to www.paperformance.com and look at their conversion instructions.

did you take the wiring harness from the 94/95 alternator by any chance??

I looked at this website but I can't seem to find where the convertion instructions are. Is this a kit I have to buy or can I wire it up myself? I don't know if Im going blind or what but I just don't see it, anymore help you can give me would be very much apperciated.

No I got it from a salvage yard and it was just the alternator.
