About 2 years ago i bought a altenator off ebay 130 amp (6 g i think i did not have to grind down the mount to make it fit, went right in).My problem is if this thing dies on the side of the road i dont know what car came with this smaller 130 amp 6g from the factory.I know the 3 gs came of the tauraus sable cars,But i wont be able to mod the bracket on the side of the road.Anyone have any idea what the smaller units came on?

99+ mustangs have them. I think the 5.4 f-150's of the same year had them as well.

That's correct, but it's 105amps

Also 1999/2000 Ford Windstar with a 3.0L. It's not 130 amps it's 105 amps.

No the 3G uses 1 more wire, but it can be easily rewired.

The 6G sold on ebay is 130amps. That's what I have on my car.
