Trying to find an Aluminum Drive Shaft for 2000 Mustang GT Automatic.
Most of the Drive Shafts I have reviewed are for Manual only.
Part number would be helpful.

DAZ:

The only options you have are to swap the auto yoke to the manual shaft or get a custom shaft. FWIW, I got a chrome moly shaft from Denny's (not the restaurant, of course) when the 3.73's went in and the driveline runs as smooth as a baby's bottom.

Chris

You just swap the yoke. Works fine.

Sounds simple enough, So the length of the shaft is not the problem - just the yoke? So if I order new Shaft and manual yoke there should be no fitment problems?

Correct. Order the driveshaft (for a manual car) and swap over the automatic yoke from the existing driveshaft. Then, enjoy.

Thanks!!!! Glad I asked. My U joint has been slapping around and I have been getting some vibration around 80 MPH. Car has 120K, so the upgrade is warranted.
