Happen to have the link?
The one I saw was only about 4rwhp & it was all up top in the rpm range.
He did a dyno comparison with adding a 65mm t body that showed a hp gain throughout the rpm band and then added the alum. d/s which did show a minimal gain, but like I stated it was up top.

Yep, this is it. 7hp max gain and smoothed out vibrations.

Will always be one of my first mods, theres no downfall to a driveshaft. All of my stangs have had them, and my only reasons were weight reduction, and smoothness.

ok maybe when yall guys are done complaining about power increase or MPG. How about this my U-joints went bad car went nuts on me. So what the heck the dealership was gonna charge me 300 for a stocker for my cobra. So i bought the alum. FRPP. Wow what a difference a lot less vibration in the car its smoother makes the undercarriage look sweet next to all the rest of my Stainless steel stuff. Its a must if your DS or U-joints ever goes out on you.

People upgrade to a aluminum for any of the following reasons:
1) switched to a tremec and require a different yoke (standard on the FMS alum)
2) have experienced vibration after installing taller gear (higher numerically)
3) believe that it is easier to spin and will pick up HP
4) Find it too expensive to replace a bad DS with a new OEM
5) Want to be cool like their friends
