Decided to try to sell my Mustang. I didn't know how much to ask, so I did a search of 1995 Mustang GT Convertibles within 100 miles on Autotrader... I came up with three That sample was just too small to determine a value. Am I asking too much? Check out the car here:

Tell me what you think.

ya, thats is alot of money, even for the area i live in. The AODE really kills the price. I would try 7500 at the most

I'd say $6500 - $7000 would be a good starting point

always put down $1000 more than you really want, that way when they bargain you get what you want.

Hey huskerpower you talking about the Johnson County area? I payed 7K (bargained down from 7800) for my auto and it had 89K on the ticker, which was 500 below blue book. I think 8 is a bit much for 98K miles.

I would keep it at 8 g's if you are not hot to sell it, there is some sucker out there that will come running.

I think $8K does seem a bit high, especially for 98K miles. I actually bought mine from a guy in Overland Park for $9K, but that was 3 years ago for a manual vert with only 66K miles, and I might have overpaid a little bit.

On a side note, thanks for the link, I've been looking for a pic of a vert with 03 Cobra's forever, and now that I've seen them on your car I love how they look!

Thanks for the input. And... it has 95,000, not 98,000, lol.

I have owned this car for a year. I seem to buy cars, fix them up, and lose interest a year later. This cycle has gone on for many moons and there is no hope for me..

Yeah, that is too high. You cannot expect to get more for a car with mods--you will usually lose money on modifications. Try $6500-7000.
