I had subframes installed today. All I have to say is I wished I would have done it sooner. They made the car feel brand new. Its amazing how much these things change your car. No real point here other than if you dont have them, get them haha.

Everybody says that when they get them. When I did it on my 96 Cobra I was blown away then was sad I never installed them in my previous Stangs. The difference is night and day. The car just feels more solid, gets rid of squeaks and the car feels so nice in corners. Much flatter and accurate. Car rides better too. Ford shoula put them in from the factory.... or at least not sectioned the sub frame

This aggravates me. I almost bought a set, but can not find anywhere to get them installed.

I checked the local shops (exhaust, tire, etc) and they wouldn't do it. Welding in doesn't seem to be the problem, but you have to modify the transmission crossmember and they won't do it. We just got a Arkansas Mustang group started, this reminded me of the subframes so I posted on hoping someone knows a place that will do it. What are you guys using? I was looking at the MM ones, just not sure if I'll do bare steel or powdercoated. It is my daily driver, so this sure seems like it would be well worth the money.

You mean they helped you during your wreck right? I assume Subframes should really help in a frontal collision, Anybody have some solid info on that?

+1, you need these things on Mustangs. I loved the way they made my car feel, so much more solid.

It's funny I saw this. I am ording the MM FLSFC tomorrow as a matter of fact. I have a 2000 GT Vert, and I am really glad to hear stories of them taking care of some of the sqeeks. Plus all the other +'s.

what type of subframes did you purchase.I know everyone says I wasted my money on the factory ford subframes, that come on the mach 1 and cobra convert....but I amagine that ford would not spend the time or the money to put something on a million vehicles if it did nothing. But none the less Glad to hear it went good for you. Enjoy your mustang.....

peace
