angel eyes on 65 coupe

I bought the ones you are talking about. I never acutally use the angel eye part cuz it is just four little LEDs and they don't light up enough to look good. However the rest of the light is awesome, looks good, pretty good quality and the bulbs they include are bright as HELL!!! I would definately rec'd them, mostly becuase you not only get bright bulbs but also a good looking housing all for $35...

It's not a ring of LEDs, just a ring of lucite or acrylic illuminated by a light sourse of some kind. The DIY option was really big with the import crowd years back when BMW introduced them and before the aftermarket produced them.

Novel, yes, but I never drive with just my parking lights on and I don't have fnacy BMW electronic everything to turn them on when it turns dusk......with that, I personally would skip them. Not only that, tri-bar projectors aren't exactly cheap and you'd have to modify them to make them angel eyes.

the angel eyes that he's talking about are close to what 65Shelby was saying. Think BMW-esque.

There are companies selling them for just about every car on the road today and now they make them in the round headlight housings used in the Mustang.

It is basicly your standard round headlight housing with some sort of hard plastic ring formed on the inner edge of the housing. there is a light bulb or LED attached to these and normally run by a different wiring scheme (i.e. parking light circuit, or straigt to a switch)

These are the ones i got... Mine don't have the little "city light" at the bottom of the reflector, but do have the "halo"... The picture is pretty misleading (click on the thumbnail with the halo lit up). The only time the halo is that bright is when it's pitch black out... Liek I said earlier though, the bulbs they include are wicked bright!

Have any pics?

I have to admit that even I'm tempted to do something like this, but my car looks like ass. I would look like a riceboy poser if I got flashy headlights before I got rid of the "primer 'n' Bondo" look............that and it wouldn't look like a Titus replicar.
