hey guys i work at a vet clinic and something big has just come up...

i dont know all the details because i havent read into it completely yet but there is a massive recall on a large amount of animal food.

some of these types of food are causing animals to go into kidney failure...
there is already about 14 pet deaths due to this...and the clinic that i work at is treating 2 dogs for kidney failure at the moment.

to find out more about the this and to find our wich foods are suspected to cause this go to: www.menufoods.com/recall

i was just letting you guys know so that yall can change your dog food and be on the look out for anything, and to prevent some of your animals from goin through this.

Thanks for reminding me about that. I got on the site and looked at the brands and Mighty Dog wasn't on there. I got on their site just to be sure and it says they are recalling the pouches. I ran down stairs and woke up my parents looking for the food to check it. I was like they recalled the pouches where are they and my mom said I don't buy them anymore she waste to much so i just buy the cans. It was relief

well i got the blood work checked on her dog and the kidney values are high its not as bad as the 2 that we have hospitalized but just to be cure tomorrow morning we're goin to get her dog in and on I.V. fluids to flush out his kidneys...

guys this is bad stuff he was only on the food for 2 weeks and that was a month ago...thats how all alot of these cases are

and on top of that the doctor i work for has been reading up on this and he says its possible that something was in the wheat crop that was used in these foods...and he says that this may be causing a desease that could possibly transmitted to people...when i was treating and cleaning up after these 2 dogs i had to wear gloves and and scrubb up more than normal because he is afraid we may get this...

this is bad and tell you the truth i'm a little worried about this

which link did not work all three worked for me

my boss said to be on the safe side we should recommend everyone to stay away from ANY dog food that has gravy in it. this is believed to have something to do with the wheat glucogen that is used in the gravy.

man its spring break here, parvo season, and now this...work is so chaotic i cant believe it...i dont believe i have ever seen the clinic so busy, everyone in town is freaking out and gettin the blood checked on their animals(which actually is the best thing you can do just incase, expecially if you have any doubt that your animal isnt actiong 100 percent normal and has eaten any of this food) we close at 5p.m. and i got to come home tonight alittle past 7
