how much should one expect to spend when buying complete afr heads, an intake, and a cam?

Prolly around $3,000 when you're done getting headers, gaskets, new mid pipe and other misc broken stuff I'd say.

I had to install my cam 4* retarded to get it to degree right. Granted that most of Ed's cams come to you fine but mine needed a change for some reason.

I hope mine starts running as good once I get my EGR tube on. I started it the 1st time with it unhooked and didn't realize that it was a vaccuum leak

are those comp pro-magnum 1.6 rockers? that's what i have, and they fit under the stock valve covers no prob w/my fti cam which is probably really similar to yours.

You know there is no relationship between using adjustable rockers and pushrod length, right?

Well you do get a little more flexibility in pushrod sizes as opposed to non-adjustable rockers, right?

The only increased flexibility I see is that you don't have to worry about getting the right shims. When I did my pushrod length checking, I noticed a pretty significant difference between lengths just 0.1" apart -- I could have run with anything from 6.200 to 6.400, but 6.300 produced a noticably better contact patch.

But I could be wrong, for I am stupid.

I used Engine Works 6.250" pushrods.

I got it from Summit with my cam degreeing kit. The whole kit was like $85.

Jake...congrats on getting the install complete. I know how it can seem pretty intimidating, but now that you got it under your belt, that confidence only gets better.

I'll be pretty interested to see your dyno and track results....wonder if you can better my times from my first time out You probably should, but that's why we actually take it to race and not just guess!
