Ok, you know the scoop. I want to see pics and/or links to all the automatic shifter knobs you guys can find for the 96-04 automatic GT's. I also want info. on a leather shift boot and the o/d button mount/relocation kits. I'm really interested in having one in my car. Thanks.

Yeah, I've seen that one. They actually make two. One black one and then one polished aluminum one. I think their both ok. I found one for automatic cars that is a skull but I don't know how it's going to look once it's mounted in there. Keep em comming.

Which set-up is that?? Looks good! I want to get the B&M Hammer shifter, but it looks like my 2001 year is left out. Does anyone know how to possibly make it work?

thx

SR, How easy was it to install the OD button. Looks like they just plug right into the stock wiring?

Dark........Um I hate to say this, but you can go to pep boys and get an APC boot. I think it would be ok to have an apc boot. The names not on it in plain view

To answer some questions aimed at me, the shifter is the t-handle from MGWLTD.com, the boot is the same one on any 5 speed Mustang just with the top trimmed off to fit around the O/D button. I got mine from 50resto.com but you can find one at most Mustang stores.
Installation of the OD button was pretty easy. If I remember correctly you have to splice the stock wires into the ones supplied with the new button. Install took maybe a hour because I couldn't get the old shift knob off.

MGW is the best stuff out there. I've been doing business with George at MGW for a LONG time, and his products are top notch. His customer service is even better.

I just put the following knob on, and so far it's the best one he's done yet. His auto knobs can only be superior by comparison.

Love it.

yea what happens to the OD button? I wanted to get a nicer shifter handle/ball and throw a nice boot on because i hate the look of the plain jane automatic. what kind of modification do you need to do to install the boot and is anything else needed besides the boot? never attached one before.

edit: yea i was looking at that mgw ball w/ OD bracket. i can just use a regular 5 speed boot? do i need anything else like the lower boot, the ring that goes around the edge, anything special to hold down the boot? etc thx
