I don't know too much about their mufflers, but from what I hear they have two. One is loud and one if quiet.

Thanks,I just called them up.I wanted to order an X-pipe with those new metal cats,,they only make them for 96 and up.(4.6) They are making one for Fox bodies but they wont be out till late next year. I was gonna buy an off rd x-pipe and buy 2 metal cats and put them on myself(it would work because they are slip over fit) but they are 160 beans a piece Thats 320 for cats,,another 3 and change for the x-pipe.thats about 700 bucks for an x-pipe All of the sudden, the Dr. Gas x-pipe is lookin pretty good

I have the Bassani off road x. I really like it. Makes a good sound. The only thing that sucks is the car rides rough. If you drive the car everyday it might make your back hurt.

It just seems like the mid pipe vibrates more than the off road and stock pipes I have used on other cars. The vibration makes the car ride a little rougher. I didn't mean that it made the car run poor, just gives it a little roughness.

What are the metal cats you refer to? I know someone that has a Bassani with cats that he bought new and used one time for emissions.

I thought it would run smoother because it is flowing better. All metal cats!! Theres no ceramic to melt and clog your cats And they flow alot better then normal high flow cats!! They just came out with them this year.Well,,Bassani did,I think someone else might of had them already,,not sure.

Sorry about all the quoting, I am just too lazy to scroll down. The metal cats is a good idea. I know my friend's ended up having a problem and he had to send it back. It does ride a little rougher. The guy I know with the catted pipe runs the off road Bassani and it rides the same. Although there is no comparison because he is putting out some serious power.

He actually has both pipes. The catted one has them welded to the pipes. I have heard they are removable, but I don't understand how it works.
