Ok, i searched the forums first but didnt really find my answer. I am going to purchase a catback, probably magnaflows?, is there anything else i need to purchase to make the catback fit for my '01 GT? Also, i see most people like the magnas but i would apreciate any other input.
thanks guys

you can listen to alot of diffrent cat backs here atMustang Exhaust and as long as you get the one for your car it should just bolt up.

I love the Magnaflow Cats...I have this system with the magnapacks,it sounds mean as hell. The rumble is awesome and gets lots of attention. Being as it's stainless steel doesn't hurt either. Great choice imo

dont mean to hijack the thread, but I think the info would be usefull:

I see that a lot of people just buy the mufflers and weld them in. . . It sounds a lot cheaper, but is a full cat back more beneficial and worth the extra cash?

In my opinion I'd say yes,it's more beneficial for the Catback. The factory pipes are compression bent and more restrictive leading into the mufflers. With a catback you'll have a true 2.5" diameter all the way back. There's nothing wrong with welding some mufflers in place if all you're looking for is a nice sound.

I did notice a SOTP difference between my old welded flows and Borla cat-back.
