It's a natural for these cars and I am amazed that Ford hasn't done it on the 06's...

I was in an airport waiting for my flight and decided to pick up a 2006 model year car mag. In it listed all makes and models and what was new with them. In it was listed (of course) the V6-Pony Package and also (which I thought was interesting) was a special edition le mans edition or something to commemorate Ford mustang and winning it...or something. Anyone else hear of this? Could it be a GT350 or something with a Shaker?

no im sry your wrong, i dont mean to sound mean you just misread car and driver. i didnt read it that way but i can see how it could get confusing if you just skimmed it. ... it talks about the pony package... "which gives V-6 Mustangs something of a GT look and feel. The actual GT Supercar will offer a limited-edition model to commemorate Ford's one-two-three Le Mans sweep in 1966...." so sry but that lemans wont be a mustang.. just fyi.. dont get your hopes up

Damn still sore over our little head but earlier? Yes I did skim it cause I had a flight to catch but I saw something I had to look at. Oh well. I'm still getting a good ol' regular GT anyway.

rickman, your car looks amazing. Windveil Blue is probably my least favorite color on the new Mustangs, but you easily have one of the best looking ones (I mean of all the new mustangs not just wb ones) I have ever seen. Great work!

not sore.. bitter.. but dont worry ill get over it. haha hey afterall its not personal its just a forum.. but it may just be me being jealous over you getting your stang sooner than me getting mine.. haha im still c/u and p/i/s/s/e/d because it wont even get serialized or recieved by the plant. i just wish it would say something else for the last like i dunno couple months... it will be here before christmas... if i keep telling myself that it WILL HAPPEN haha

btw i like the shaker bud, really really unique. you proably wont come across another stang in your area that will have one. and if you do it still dosent take anything away from your car. i mean it makes your gt stand out. i like it

I'm a pr*ck lol. With my luck they'll have that manual tranns shortage or they'll lose my order. Knock on wood.

Anyway, the first time I saw a shaker it was on a new mach so my brain associates it with the sporty lookin mustangs from the not so distant past. Too sporty for the retro look. I'm too young.
