Since there was quite a bit of talk about the convertible and what the look would be, I thought I would share a little information as stated by an interview with Hau ThaiTang (designer of 05).
The questions was actually about the Cobra but the answer for that part of the question was avoided. However this is what was said about the convertible design:
"... we planned up front for this platform to offer a convertible with its stiffer structure. That was never the case with past mustang platforms that had to be reworked for convertibles."
