Another x-pipe question.

I will be getting a catted UPR x-pipe, will I Still need MILS?? Or is it gonna be a direct swap without 02 extensions(I dont think i need those for an 03 gt)??? Im all confuesed lol.

Youu dont need MILS, the existing 02 sensors should fit directly on the catted x-pipe.

well i have a 97 GT and i installed a bassani x with cats and didnt put mils and no light came on, now im running catless and still no check engine light, i guess its different on every car.

I installed the Catted UPR X-pipe and there is no problem with emissions. Leaks and ground clearance, yes... but these are other issues.

FWIW, it's usually a matter of time before the CEL appears after you switch to an off-road pipe (ie - it may take several drive cycles for the PCM/computer to ascertain whether the voltage at the rear O2 sensors are reading "within an allowable range" or not).

Exactly..mine cycles about once a month to off then back on within 100 miles..man usually me and kilgore are tag teaming but it seems me and u are the tag team of the day huh

well ive been runnig catless for more then 3 months and nothing has ever comed on, i drive my car every single day atleast 50 miles a day.
