I have a set of shorty hedman headers on the stang. Dunno about them, they where on the car when i bought it. Theyve always leaked a bit, but not as bad. Now its freaking annoying and louder, especially at first startup. Loud ticking that gets to your head after a while, lol. Ive tightened the bolts as much as possible with no change. Its only the passenger side header, driver side is just fine. Any solutions? Get a new header gasket??

How much power is lost, if any with such an exhaust leake?

Thanks!!!!

Sounds like the header gasket is burnt, I'd replace them use Fel-Pro 1415's they work very well.

Is there any difference between Fox 5.0 and 94/95's? I found this on
Summit but it only says from years 62-93.

Thanks guys!

I have the same problem.. sounds like cylinder #4.

How hard is it to replace that gasket? I guess you don't use cilicone or anything for the header gasket right, it'd just burn off?

Yes those are the ones you want, the header is the same for the 302-351 base motors. Just put a set on a 94 Cobra
