Are you still running stock gears? If not then it might be that your back sensors are broke.
Next time you remove your back wheels check the sensors for cracks. I bought some replacements from a salavage yard and fixed mine.
Also, check for blown fuses. Check the fuse box in the car and out under the hood.

ABS LIGHT
Check the fuses and such as mentioned also one other thing to check is the ground wire on the abs unit, it is right underneath the radiator on the passenger side down low you'll see where it attaches to the frame with a 8m bolt, i was changing the coolant in my moms 96, and i knocked the wire loose ( it was old and brittle) had me scratching my head though how a H2O pump and coolant change could make the abs go out.
