50/50, run a t-stat, and dump in a bottle of water wetter for good measure.

I use the stock 192 w/o any problems, but most people use a 180 so the computer richens the mixture a tad. Don't run a 160 though, thats too cold. it'll richen the mixture too much, and cause problems w/ u're cats and stuff.

It is still better to run a 180 thermostat at least. I've heard that you shouldn't use water wetter and antifreeze together, and that it is designed to be used purely with water. I have no personal experience there, but I read it on here or the Corral. I run 70/30 water/antifreeze.

In the summer, run mostly water, like 1989MustangLX suggest 70/30 water/coolant.

Yep, what I would do:

Run the least amount of coolant needed to take care of the lowest winter temps you will see.

Use distilled water for the rest.
Run a bottle of cooling system lubricant and rust inhibitors.

Run a wetting agent (I would use two bottles).

More water than coolant is better for thermal rejection - water transfers heat 2.6 times better than coolant (coolant is 'heavy').

As said, DO run the t-stat. If you insist on running none, at least run a restrictor plate.

Good luck.
