What aftermarket stainless mufflers are a direct replacement for the 2011- 2012 Mustang GT's? Or are there any without buying a complete catback or axleback kit?
The axle back kits are pretty much a muffler and new tip. The axle back part is only a couple feet long. I bought the Roush axle back kit for mine, install was a breeze.

General consesus is that if you want it civilized but still louder than stock and zero drone, GT500 axleback is the way to go (and cheapest)
Roush is next in line as far as low price but are quite a bit louder and the noise can get out of hand if you have a higher flowing mid pipe so seems like a lot of guys say if you go with them, leave the rest of the exhaust stock.
