Mine colapsed and was making the PCV internals to rattle... I got some spare hose, cut two short straigt pieces, and put them on a small aluminum tubing elbow and replaced the failed rubber elbow... This one will never colapse due to wear, heat, time...

Hope this helps. I think you need to buy the pvc valve and hose as one unit. As said above, contact Randy for the final word on this.
