Well I got bored yesterday and started going through some of my very old Mustang magazines jut for the hell of it. Something I noticed as I was looking through them was Kenny Brown ads. Remember how back in the day they had some of the best suspension stuff available? Then I realized how long it had been since I had seen or heard that name. I went to the internet to see if I could find anything for my car (since I'm in the market for suspension upgrades) and their website isn't the most user friendly. All I could find was control arms.
Has anyone seen anything new from them lately? Is their stuff any good anymore? Are they even in business anymore?

Kenny Brown is still around, kennybrown.com . What I read on their site about a year ago was that Kenny got cancer and the company suspended operations while he was in therapy. Some of their stuff was good, some not so good, as I recall.

I had their sub frame connectors on my '83 5.0... Nice quality and seems to be a good company.

They were pretty big with the SN95 and T-bird crowd IIRC.

I think you are right. Like I said in my OP I used to see a lot of advertising for them.

A little bit, but they look to be making a push back into the main market. Looks like they are working on some interesting pieces too.

Kenny Brown got deathly sick a few years back as they were transitioning into doing some cool stuff with the S197 (Google CSR69 concept) and the company sort of fell apart since he was the main work force. He's making a comeback though. I saw an article a few months ago in one of the mustang mags and he said he was working on some new stuff, but he wouldn't be as hardcore involved as before.

I'd like to see what they could come up with for competition for the Ford handling pack or the Roush suspensions that would be comparable in price.

Thats how I recall also. Got sick and put things on hold. What I remember the most from their company was a display at Road America. They had a blown crown vic state patrol car and a blacked out blown ford mini van. dont like mini vans but if I was forced to own one that would be it.

I seem to remember them having a green v6 stang for a driving school that would hold it's own with some of the more high end cars.

Yes I ran against that car with my paxton blown 93 GT. It was fast with the V6. It was stroked to a 4.2 using ford truck parts. My car made 364 rwhp. Mine would catch him in the straights but that car cornered awesome. Couldn't keep up. Later on that green car, I think it's nick name was "kermit" Got a 32v cobra motor.

Yep, now that you mention it that was the name of that car. I wonder how much the v8 hurt the cornering of it.

Havent seen it in about 4-5 years. if you seen the car it is basically a race car. Slammed, gutted, basically a race car so im sure the handling would still be above average. I think the V8 takes away from a V6 wooping most V8's If you can take a Zo6 with a N/A V6 you can brag all day. I would.

I know the handling would still be very very good even with the v8. I'm just curious how much the braking and cornering would be affected by the additional weight on the nose.
I think taking a Z06 with just about any mustang is worth bragging about. Unless it's a full blown race car.

Thats what my goal was for with my 93 stang. This driver of a sliver ZO6 was surprised that I could toy with his vett. The stang has a full interior, no weight removed. That was a good day. same with this GTS viper. we were pretty much dead even. He had a slight better top end and I had better braking. That was fun.
