Way I see it, some good head work and/or a mild cam which would pass the sniffer test here in CA would also pass a "visual inspection", since the engine internals are not examined in SMOG tests, even here in CA
I am obviously not the only person here in the CARB occupied state of CA that would believe this to be true. Has anyone with a '99-'04 GT had any experience(s) with this sort of modification in (northern) CA?
I believe I asked something along these same lines a couple years back, and got squat as far as useful replies go. A search still turns up nothing in this realm, either.
Any thoughts/experience out there, now?
