well i have blowby and i ordered a DSS 306 Shortblock, but i won't be in for at elat 2 weeks then off to the shop so i'll proly have my car back at the end of june, well my car smokes badly and purs threw the vents, is there any kind of temporary fix i can do til my car goes in the shop? anyway i can make it stop smoking for a few hundred miles so i can at least drive it? thanks
any kinda temporary fix?

normally you'ld get coolant smoke through the vents. Does the smoke smell sweet or like oil.
if it's coolant you'll want to by pass the heater core or replace it(after you make sure that's what is leaking).
if it smells like oil: with the hood, engine running can you see where it's leaking. blow-by should be pulled back into the engine by way of the PCV system(check to make sure the valve is working). if you have really bad blow-by it may have blown out a gasket(valve cover or rear intake seal).
there's a product in a silver can, i think it's called Restore. i've had to use that before and it did ok.

I have nothing productive to add!
Run an open breather...you can get one that screws right into where your oil fill cap is. I like to run them on everything.
